internal auditor position's career path? Thanks a lot

我在有4年的big 4审计工作经验，生完孩子后被雷。现在找了一个internal auditor position，要50%出差。我不太清楚将来的发展，also I think I will not be able to take care of my little baby with that much traveling. 准备请个保姆。我劳工说只有他一个人工作不够养家。 ：-（ sigh.

I don't want to travel for all my life. Is there anyone in the internal auditor side could share some thoughts. What kind of position I could take after several years of internal auditor working experience. 我怕如果走上了这个track, 将是一条不归路。It will be hard to make the work life balance. anyway, there is a lot of things out of our control.

I am afraid that if I take that offer, I will have to travel forever unless I become the lead of the audit group. The company said that after 2 years I will have opportunity to move to other business side, but I am not sure whether it is true.
