They asked me how much I got for my last job, I told them and they said they could not offer me that much, only can pay me at XXXX, whether I would still consider it, as they dont want to waste my time, if I am still interested in this job, then we can move forward. They are outsourced HR, not recruiter, is direct hire. Now what I want is to practice how to negotiate better compensation,any suggestion? Thank you.
