快烦死了，到底先争取啥？

都说要为自己的利益争取，我被两个人教唆，头都大了。

A 是我的前同事, 年初升了VP. 结果升职不长工资，整天气愤田鹰. 那天看到我，问我怎莫不申请一个internal VP position. 没有人比我更qualify.
我对上次promotion 没我心里很不痛快，但这个位子是个新account, 团队还没组建，好做不好做，人手够不够，心里没数。A告诉我过了这个机会，就难说了。They (my boss and my boss’s boss) don’t really care about you unless you ask for yourself. 在他的窜哆下，第2天找 assistant director(二老板) 说我要 apply this position. 他没说不行，说我其实很close, 但要我和大老板谈 (this position report to 大老板).

结果下午我老板就告诉我同事B要走. 同事B是老板的朋友,我每天加在他们中间,很不舒服,也是我想换account原因.但我和同事B关系很好.结果他又告诉我,不要换account去当那又累又没钱的VP. 应该待在我现在account上,管他们要工资,这样有钱又舒服. 他要走是很好的leverage. 因为没了我, 我现在的account 就不转了. 他告诉我他现在的工资和bonus, 还有他们的counter offer, 差点没把我气死,

他到另一大公司作director, 说特想带我一起去. 做的事和我们现在的不太一样. 我挺想感兴趣的.

下星期要和大老板谈,可都不知想要什末. 我的选择:

1. Apply for VP position under the new account. There is a 70% chance I can get it but no salary increase and I will need to work much more hours. If I don’t get it because my current account will collapse without me (this is assistant director’s concern), I can use it as leverage to be VP on my current account.

2. Stay with my current account as manager but ask for 15% rise. Not sure if I can get it without an offer on hand. Our company has salary freeze this year. There is no exception unless it is counter offer. Even I get it, I may piss off the senior VP and never get the promotion I want. 在B要走得情况,有点要挟的味道.

3. Stay with my current account and ask for guaranteed promotion next spring. They can not promote people in the middle of year unless it is a new account.

4. Leave with B. I am not happy at all what my boss did or said to me in the past couple months. She yelled to me and B all the time and that drove B out even they were friends before. She changed her attitude to me after she knows B is leaving. I am also disappointed that she lied to me that my salary was higher than all my peers.

昨天一天A和B不停的跟我说,都说是在帮我,又都千叮万嘱不要和别人讲.我理解B 告诉我他工资的事不能讲, 不太明白为什A 比B还紧张. 我老板又开始她的sales pitch, 说在我现在account上有多好,我可以做VP的job, 但她想让我更ready 一些,这样就不会像A那样struggling. 升上去又没钱,我急什末. 这话我一年前就听过了.
我老板也有好的地方, 她教我带团队的方法,其实都很好,所以我现在team才这莫好.
