Don't worry about this. You boss will not mind this. He will mind if this is from his boss.
My experience: do not assuem your boss's boss can understand if your boss can understand. High level can understand big picture but not detail. They may not even understand what you are working on day to day.

BTW, your daughter is beautiful.
