E-Mail Deployment Specialist

The purpose of this position is to manage the execution of the sears.ca email marketing program, including but not limited to: email deployment, email deployment testing, database management, list segmentation, multivariate testing, web analytic analysis, reporting and evaluation.

Major Responsibilities

8226; Email Deployment Execution: Transform raw design files into an HTML format. Responsible for working with our Email Service Provider (ESP) to develop and use design templates. Build, test and deploy email using our ESP.
8226; List segmentation and creation: Continuously improve the segmentation and list creation for sears.ca email. Ensure each email is properly segmented and targeted via dynamic list creation and dynamic content insertion.
8226; Extending the email platform: Test new opportunities for email marketing including triggered email and mobile technologies. Design new ways to use email within the organization. Work with the Manager of Interactive Marketing Email, and E-Commerce strategist to design and execute email strategies for other businesses within the Sears umbrella.
8226; Database integration initiatives: Work with other members of the interactive marketing team to leverage from other databases within the Sears organization.
8226; Reporting: Monthly analysis of email results for future improvements including competitive analysis and best practice research for email deployment.
8226; Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

8226; Demonstrated strong understanding of database management with project management experience preferred
8226; Demonstrated HTML and basic programming skills required
8226; Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
8226; Flexible and quickly adaptable to new situations
8226; Ability to work independently, yet seek help when needed
8226; Ability to participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects

Education:Three year community college: Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or related field
