Corporate Procurement serves all departments within Sears acquiring non-merchandise/in-direct spend goods and services for all channels. Corporate Procurement associates work together in a team environment, while having the opportunity to build their partnership skills by working with external suppliers on an ongoing basis.
As an IT Procurement Analyst you will assist with the acquisition of all goods and services to support business initiatives within assigned categories.
This will include:
8226;Assist the IT Procurement Manager and Senior Procurement Analysts with Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for business partners.
8226;Setting up new vendors, create/track purchase orders, and reconcile invoices.
8226;Develop, build, and manage strategic relationships with business partners/vendors. Understand business requirements and strategic direction. Follow up, understand and interpret vendor viability pertaining to vendor stability from current vendor portfolios. Review order status with vendors, and provide feedback/status to clients.
8226;Assist the Procurement Manager and Senior Procurement Analysts with the interpretation of vendor contract terms/conditions with special attention to legal obligations, vendor deliverables, pricing/payment schedules, and term of use.
8226;Manage capital and operating expenses by assisting business partners with business cases and special requisitions.
8226;Implement and utilize procurement tools and systems such as e-Sourcing; BMO e-Procurement’ pcard; Contract Management, Asset Centre etc.
The ideal job candidate will have completed an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Purchasing with a Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) designation.
