you better mention the relationship to your new boss, and give your opinion on what kind of service (quality wise) you should receive from them. Let the boss decide whether or not use their service.

It is quite common. Just make sure the deal is good to your current company. I have been in the same situation before and my former boss provided bargain service and everybody was happy.
