Please help me...Thxxxxxx

I was laid-off months ago. I have two kids and my wife does not work. My greencard is pending and we also have a mortgage payment each month. I did several interviews, but did not get any offer yet. Currently, I am waitig for the final decision on my last interview. Obviously, I am not the best candidate, but my recruiter told me that the company might give me another interview.I emailed (twice) the senior who interviewed me, he replied me every time. He is a Chinese and very nice. My interview should be very smooth. But the test score before the interview was not ideal, I think. I did not have any others to be hoped for. Under this situation, could I tell the senior my current difficulties to ask for a sympathy? Could anybody here kindly offer your talent to help me? Thank you very much for your time and help.
