how to deal witha co-worker like her??

I'm ve been with this team for 2 years. Last year, a india woman was transfered to our team because she couldn't get along with her co-wokers in the previous team. Anyway, now I know why she couldn't get along with her team members because she kept interrupting other people in all kinds of meetings! While other people are talking, not only she is not listening, but she is ready to bring another topics while we are still talking and digesting the current topic. She also gossip a lot. If someone was laied off, she is the first one to know and she would approach you and wisper the news to you , acting like a person without education. But, she knows how to kiss the asses of the core people in the group like manager or PM, now she is transitioned to a PM (she was a developer before), and a PM is a very important role in the group. I really really dislike her and We don't get along and I'm sure she will give me hard time regading resouce allocaitons. It's the PM who update the upper managers the works we're doing and get credit for the team.... I can image what she is going to do to me :(((( Working in an unstable environment is already tough, and working with difficulty people makes it even tougher!
