follow-up: big fight with group lead

I am stunned that there were so many replies. WEll, I did not put things clearly the first time. Group lead is GM. My superviser is a director reporting to him. I complained about some issues regarding another sr. director, under GM as well. My superviser used this as a good excuse to beat that sr director and gained a re-org to strengthen his power here. GM learned about my issues from my superviser and wanted to talk about it. A good chance to enhance my relationship with him Yes it is. But I blew it by being too candid about the issues. And my way of communication apparently pushed him to the other side. I think he realized there were some serious issues there. but he is more on their side now. It was very stupid on my side to be way too honest. Also, a lesson learned is that all bosses want to hear good news, not bad ones. If you compare his team to others and tell him the other team is better, the conversation will not have a good ending.
My superviser urged me to talk with GM again saying his door is open for me to have another conversation. I simply cannot talk with him now. I am scared that sth else will come up we will end up fighting again.
