nolunch: My experience about contingent offer

I once even signed one such contingent offer with expected salary. When the company won the award, it hired a different person with reduced salary. One year later, the same woman asked me to do her a favor again. I told her I felt shamed to get her phone.

Since that, I rejected to sign this kind of contingent offer four times last summer. Two Directors in a same company contacted me at least ten times in 3 days for a very senior position. I told them to write a guarantee letter of hiring me for that position before I accept the contingent offer. They disappeared.

They will just use your qualifications to win the award from the government.
