Part-Time Job Opportunity for Molecular and/or Cellular Biologist

Job Description:

Henlius Biopharmaceutical, Inc., a start-up biotech company focusing on development and commercialization of biosimilars and bio-betters, is seeking an experienced molecular and/or cell biologist to execute a cell line generation project. The ideal candidate must have the following educational background and technical experiences:

1. M.S. or Ph.D. degree from a reputable university/institut e, majoring in one or more of biological sciences, immunology, or biochemistry.

2. DNA/gene enzymatic manipulations, cloning and expression in bacterial, yeast, and/or mammalian systems.

3. Transfection and selection/screening of mammalian cell lines for desired phenotype.

4. Grow, transfer and expand mammalian cells using cell culture techniques.

5. ELISA techniques.

6. Development of cell-based bioassays and immunoassays (optional).

The job will start as a part-time position, requiring at least 20 hours of work per week.

Job Location:

The laboratory is located on Weddell Drive (near Highway 101) in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

The compensation will be based on a full-time scale of $55,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus incentive stock shares.
