I remember I read a software text engineer book:

On average, a project from beginning(proposal) to the end (release), if put it in lines/day for programmers, it is about 4-5 lines/day, not 400 lines/day.

Maybe it is not accurate, but according to my experience, if only count for development(coding and design) time, average 400 lines/day is not possible for developers, i would say less than 100 lines / day.

I am talking about C/C++ programming language
