I have the similar issue recently. I understand your feelings. It's so strange that in the US there are some mean bosses that you just couldn't get along with no matter how hard you try. Just hang on there and try to document everything. Talk to your boss everyday and write him back with email of what he said to you. This way you won't misunderstand his instruction and you will have something to rely on in case he changed his mind during the process. Life is hard. But you shouldn't quit because of him since it's not worthy to have a spot in your life related to this ugly person. Thinking in more postive way. You have a great family and a job in this resession. I know it's hard since I cried everyday a couple of months before. My eyes are still tearfull when I think of what had happened. I am still trying to leave everything behind. Hopefully after one year, we can smile at the past and still have a very happy family.
