Besides driving slowly, there are two other tips you must know to drive on a snowy or icy road safely:
(1) Do not use the brake. If you have to use the brake, use it lightly and slowly;
(2) Hold the steering wheel straight. Again, if you have to turn your car, do it slowly. If your car does begin to skid on the road, turn the wheel in the direction of the skid, not the opposite. This should help to steer your car back on the right track.
As you can see, the key is to handle your car slowly like you play your movie in a slow motion: drive slow, brake slow, steer slow, etc. Slow, slow, slow....Why? All because of that little friction coefficient (u) of the ice. I am now talking about Physics, and you are probably to have one more thing to hate other than ice if I continue. So I better to stop now and wish you enjoy your new job.
