A PhD from MIT does help. I never said a single bad word on MIT. Wharton produced 1000 MBAs every year. Who benifits the most from this large number? Business school and their professors. Many hedge funds have negative views against MBAs. For example, Ren Tech, one of the most successful hedge funds, almost never interview any person polluted by MBA education.
