me like to work to some extend for three reasons. First, we are social animals and work serves that need to some extend. Second, to many women and men alike, work brings more than just dollars to the fulfilling feelings. Third, staying home and taking care of kids are very hard. Many women (Chinese or American) do not have money to hire baby sitters or go to spa.

My 2 cents? As long as you can CHOOSE, to work or to stay at home, and enjoy the process, that is happiness.
