A made-up story...
You wrote that the on-site interview story was relayed to you by your friend. Well, if that is indeed the case, one would infer that the job candidate knew all along that the fau pas she has allegedly committed should be avoided at all cost. Yet, according to the "story," she stumbled each step of the way.
Ergo, she made none of the mistakes you attributed to her, and the entire story was made up.
Next time, if you need to make up something to make a point, tell a story that is more plausible, so that we truly can learn something from it.
