Look for new job or stay on the part time job?

I got my part time job at a university three month ago. This is my first job. I like this job, the working environment and got a good evaluation from my boss and peers. However, my boss does not have the power to create full time staff position for me. She mentioned that it take at least 6 months to get a proposal to the dean. She sent me to all the training classes and workshop. I get paid for going to class and meeting with people and also can work from home.

I received several interview invitation from companies recently, I want a full time job but felt little hesitate to decide whether to go to the interviews or not? Go with my feeling or go with reality? I need long term plan. What should I do?
