I always encourage people to schedule 1on1 meeting with your supervisors. In your case, regular meeting with CFO might help you solve the problem. On the other hand, if you have a lot sick time, let them take out several hours won't hurt too much. If the company doesn't encourage employees to work overtime, you need your CFO know that your work burden is way too heavy. You need help on that.
