It is a bad day
I am in charge of one major feature for our new release. We are going to ship out tomorrow. This morning QA told us the feature functions incorrectly. When we digged in deeper, we found out we had a big design problem. We have to ship out without the new feature I led. My manager is mad, and I understood. I don't know if it would affect my job security. Anyway, it will hurt my reputation. Damn it. It is not 100% my fault. But I should catch some design flaws. I like to say sorry to my manager, but I don't know what to say. And do I need to talk to him face to face or just send out an email?
