Are you talking about the tuition fee for the internship? Internship is a 2 or 3 credit course for 1 major semester. It costs the same as if you are taking a course. You pay the tuition to the school. Most of the time, interns are compensated hourly by the employer. I guess $10-15 per hour is fair, and you should make more money in the internship than the tuition you pay.

This is the worst internship I can imagine because the hour is stressful, and you don't learn much as a data input machine. If you find an internship in the audit department, you should not work more than 45-50 hours per week. In audit area, it is usually the Seniors and Managers who work extreme overtime, not the junior staff.
