Is it your first time to Beijing? My following suggestions are for the people who have never visited Beijing. You may select useful information this is not your 1st time.
Day 1: Tiananman square/zhong shan gong yuan/forbidden city
Day 2: Tian Tan/Summer Palace
Day 3: Great Wall/Ming Tombs
Day 4: Beijing Hai/Jing Shan
If you like animals, you may visit Beijing Zoo. Lots of animals. You won't be disappointed.
Night life: have a drink at San Li Tun Bar Street; taste local foods at "night market" ( two famous night market: wang fu jing and dong si )
Shopping: Xiushui Market; Hong Qiao Market ( Asia largest fresh water pearl market ); Wang fu jing; China
World Trade Center; Scite Tower; Xi Dan
Food: You may taste real local food from all over China in Beijing. I personally like "dou hua zhuang" at xi dan. Very good and affordable si chuang food. There are also lots of super good Korean restaurants at Wang Jing area.
Have a good time! If you have more questions, please ask.
