Ma Kai is a Hunan restaurant, but a little bit out of dated. There are many "reformed" hunan restaurants in Beijing and both the food and service are pretty good.
If you would like to walk to the Ping An Avenue, you could find restaurants with various choices from Beijing dumplings to Shanghai snacks, from genuine Sichuan spicy food to Guizhou mushroom hotpot. After a big dinner, sitting in the bar at Shichahai might be a good choice to enjoy the nightlight beat in BJ.
