本人常住在国内， 绿卡即将到期申请renew，请问renew申请提交时以及等待期间需要呆在美国吗？
-You can file I-90 online when you are present in China, but you need to come back to US to conduct biometrics. If you stay in China for a long perid of time, you need to apply for reentry permit which allows you to stay in China for > one year < two years.
You also had better return to the U.S. as soon as possible after filing and ensure you are back before your current Green Card expires.
