Sorry, I do not wish to be involved in the details of this case and/or your pending business deal. (I’m not allowed even if I wish). Sounds to me that you and the restaurant owner are trying to make a deal under the table so you will get a cheap restaurant and the owner will hide some cash from his creditors (what a scoundrel!). I suggest that you obtain an attorney.
