NEW KENT -- New Kent High School sophomore Jacob Vick died Tuesday after he collapsed during football practice.
New Kent coach Dan Rounds told the Newport News Daily Press that he did not know the cause of Vick’s death. He said the Trojans were going through team drills when the player collapsed. Vick was transported to VCU Medical Center, where he later died.
