The fact is that the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Train run 86 trips Per Day.  Far exceeds the estimated 30 trips a day in the article.
I wonder if Map*****el ever traveled on high speed train in China, Japan, France, Germany, Spain? 
The 4-5 hours time is also competitive to air travel.
