Sloan-Kettering study suggests acupuncture may be effective for pain relief

A study by researchers from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York suggested that patients with chronic pain who received acupuncture treatments had less pain after the treatments than those who had no treatment at all.

Patients treated with acupuncture, regardless of needle placement, reported less pain than those who receive no treatment.
