日本皇军抢了中国东北的地盘，杀了人家的人，强奸了人家的妇女，但是日本皇军在中国东北建立了当时最先进的工业和矿业，按照你的说法

"Certainly they took land and killed  natives, but they made something good out of the land they took."

所以，你应该在这里为日本皇军歌功颂德
