Georgia O'keeffe fell in love with a photographer Alfred Stieglitz (also a gallery owner), and married him after his divorce to his then wife was finally approved. Afred is 23 years older than Georgia. He hated travel. Georgia loved traveling and nature and her sis Ada accompanied her often for these trips). Georgia first traveled to New Mexico in 1929 summer. 

Georgia O'keef 在纽约的时候以画close up 的大flower出名。后来她来到new mexico ,就爱上了这里，在大山中间的一个很小很小的村子里面， abiquiu ， 买了一个房子，叫 ghost ranch。 alfred去世之后，她就定居在这里。有机会一定去看看。

以前喜欢她的花儿，现在喜欢她的山。
