我昨晚陪儿子看KNICKS打多伦多猛龙队.Jeremy打得真不错,也非常喜欢他和队友的互动.开朗活泼,典型美国长大的小孩.楼下又有人说他被歧视,连文道在三人行也这么说.我仔细看了对他CAREER的报道,摘录如下:

"Most colleges start recruiting a guy in the first five minutes they see him because he runs really fast, jumps really high, does the quick, easy thing to evaluate," Walters said. Lin added, "I just think in order for someone to understand my game, they have to watch me more than once, because I’m not going to do anything that’s extra flashy or freakishly athletic."[19]

WALK－ＯＮ就是说学校运动队要他,但不提供奖学金．＂but Ivy League schools do not offer athletic scholarships.＂这句很重要,因为没有奖学金，他才选择了去哈佛.林的SＴＹＬＥ is not flashy or impressive in the first 5 minutes.这大概是他没有被教练选中的主要原因．当然对Asian的Stereotype肯定是有的,比如都认为AＳＩＡＮ数学好,会乐器，打篮球没那么在行,这都算不上歧视．就象我们说老黑运动好,音乐才能，但学习不行.

事实上随着姚明的退役，ＮＢＡ急需找一位新的亚洲面孔来代替姚明来吸引亚洲市场.而小林就是最好的选择了.谈何歧视．我个人觉得小林比姚明打得好多了.我小姨是专业的省队女子篮球教练.也非常喜欢看NＢＡ，她对姚明的评价一直不高.她觉得姚的灵活性比起NＢＡ其他的运动员差太远了.完全靠个子,但有容易受伤.我就觉得姚根本就跑不动.小林就非常不错,若能KＥＥＰ　ＯＮ，　前途无可限量.Go Jeremy.
