You are very responsible man! You are really touching the painful point many oversea Chinese are experiencing. I have siblings in China and they are fine. One work as police officer (people call them rogue) and the other works in tax bureau. They don’t like their life either but they have no choice. If you read my earlier posts, my father died of cancer a couple of years ago and that was really bad experience. I am lucky because I have siblings in China. The best thing I could do is: I visited there often.. Distance is not a big issue anymore. Unless you live in the same city as your parents, there is no big difference between Boston and Xinjiang. People in different cities have the same problem as I do and it doesn’t matter which country you are living in. My parents have been to the U.S. and they like the environment but they don’t want to stay because of the language. But they don’t want e to go back.

If you choose to go back because of your parents, I envy you and pray for you! No other reason required. The only thing you should consider is to balance your life, particular when you have a family and kids here. Your own family and kids are equally important to you and that is pain most of us feel the most.

But I simply don’t agree with some other comparisons and their conclusion! You know what I mean.
