I doubt you 体会了 any thing significant about American election.

From my observation, the people in China has turned a lot more "money" oriented in the last 10 years than those Chinese in the US.

That is right. But I am surprised that they came out of your mouth. Maybe you did not realize what you are saying here. Do you realize "不愿做社区义务服务, 不愿为灾区捐款, 不把社会的责任作为自己的责任" is a Chinese culture? What you are saying is they should abandon Chinese culture (at least this part) and follow the American way.

You are a racist.

Which country is "自己的国家"? US, or Mainland, or Taiwan? I can hardly perceive that if all those Chinese who became US citizens align themselves more with the self-declared government in Mainland would help avoiding being discriminated. It should have the opposite effect.

You are confused of loving a country or loving its government: "我真的为李安而感动, 为他每次用中文对祖国, 对祖国人民的祝愿而兴奋和自豪. Did you feel the same "感动" when another Chinese got a MUCH more significant prize a few years ago? I did. I bet you did not.
