this is a leap in reasoning... northeast and CA are both very accommodative to immigrants, in fact, I think NY and CA are even better than China in terms of respecting one's potential, regardless his or her background,

in China there is fairly severe wealth discrimination and power discrimination imho, I'm sure you know many people and circumstance that you have to suck up to... there is no heaven,

if I have to pick one place to live, I'd pick NY... just my vote,
