Problem is he is so NOT Chinese

and he thinks he will not be successful there!

He does not speak the language, nor does he wants to learn. I have an ABC friend, who was born in Taiwan and came to the US at age of 3, speaks some Chinese but not that great, who is over in SH learning Chinese now. I just wish my guy is more like that, but he is so not. :-(

Even if he does know the language, he said, he will not be happy there. He does not like the Asian culture, he feels foreign even in HK, and he does not know how to connect w. people at a level that you can be buddies and do business w. them.
