In terms of money management, he has a lot to improve on and when we discuss this he agreed to change/become more desciplined once he is working again. To be fair, his big spendings (student loans, engagment ring, etc. ) were done well before the financial crisis started late last yr.

As for me, I have saved some money, and did not mis-manage my financial assets. If you are referring to my other asset, myself, yes, I agree it is quite disconcerning that I am not married at this age. Nearly everyone I met in China asked me why. --------

I think to make a living, and to make a decent living in the US is not easy for someone who has not roots here. I came to US at age 22/23, changed jobs several times, went to top-rated business school (already have a Master's and had a job at the time) then come to Wall St. for a very demanding job. Am I career woman? I have been, but I also want a relationship, a family. If you ask me what I would rather do differently in the past? I cannot think of any.
