You can't compare an UCLA Master of Economics with average Chinese graduates here. You should compare with Chinese graduates from same level schools with same level degrees and working in consulting or IB industry. Most likely they can earn $60W USD here with that background. Average graduates can earn 6W RMB in China and their counter part working in U.S. earn about 6W USD. Is that fair statement ?
