fix it before it breaks, that's how you keep it running forever

50k I have to say it's way too conservitive. The worst thing could happen to manual tranny is clutch cylinder leaks. I once had my slave cylinder leaked. Couldn't disengage the clutch. Didn't know how to up shift without clutch back then had to have it towed.
