camshaft position sensor changed, still can't start the car.

one mechanic said to change the whole engine ( I think is ridiculous because the night before driven 60 miles + no problem, the next morning, suddenly can't start the car at all ). the other said is electric problem.

I guess if I tow the car to mechanic shops will get the similar diagnosis.
