if sedan is in your consideration, you can also try Volvo s60. good NHSTA & IIHS results, AWD version for Canada winter, for 2013 you might even get $30k or below.  My boss is driving Infiniti G37x. He just bought one s60 for his family and is very impressed (and surprised) w/ the good driving dynamics of s60. He said a good deal now w/ 2013 cars.
