you may have used a diffenrent computer

or a different version of tomtom home. the SD card was formatted and has no data. you have to call tomtom to see whether they can send you a new copy. I had the same problem three years ago. tomtom asked me to ship the unit back many times. each time I got it back it would work but after plugged into a computer, the card was formatted. I got tired of it and bought a Garmin, after which tomtom mysteriously came back to life. tomtom told me it could be a virus. I am not sure since three different computers showed the same problem.
