1.Go to free internet site to post your ad, the best one is http://sfbay.craigslist.org/

2.Go to www.kbb.com to check the value of your car as a reference for your sale price

3.Buyer will come to see and test drive your car.If he or she is happy about the car, cut a deal after price negociation

4. Buyer pay you in cash or money order or chech if you trust him/her.

5. You sign and release title to buyer. Go to your local DMV website to check the special requirement in your state/province 

6. Call insurance company to cancel insurance on the car you sold.

7. Buyer will may Tax to DMV, not you.
