不能就此结论说LX470撞不过CV吧

The LX obviously rolled. Passengers who wore belts were not seriously hurt which shows the protection.

The CV was "swiped" so it wasn't a direct hit. Still, the cop was lucky that the LX hit his rear wheel and not two feet forward. Otherwise he'd be at least seriously insured or even killed.
