why some new car well below invoice price and others not

2013 MDX  vs. 2013 Infiniti JX35

JX35 dealers offer somewhere between MSRP and Invoice (seems to be no room for negotiation) 

MDX dealers, other the other hand, offer ~$3000 below invoice by email. Too good to be true?

Any reason for such big difference. I do not see big difference technically.
