power steering replacement for windstar 98

有个朋友的车，1998 Ford Windstar, repair shop quoted over $1000 to repace power steering pump, presure hose and return hose.

I am thinking to DIY.

The parts I need buy:

1，power steering pump, auto zone, part #6383, price$44.99+core $$24 (my understanding for core is that you need pay , then return the old part, then they will refund the core price.)

2, high pressure power hose, auto zone, part#92032, price$54.99

3, return hose, auto zone, part#92129, price $15.99

4, couple bottles of power steering fluid for your mini van, forgot to quote.

Auto zone got free tool rental, I need pay first, when return the tools, got money back.

1, power st pulley , part #27031, price $40 , fully refund when you return it.

2, serpentine belt, part # 27115, price $30, fully refund when you return it.
