how about seals? They aren't leaking. $237 for three seals.

They only cost $17.17 in parts. What a rip off! I asked my mechanic. He only charges $450 for timing belt, pump, drive belt and all seals.  I haven't told them to replace the seals yet.Please advise. Should I pay $237 for the three seals or wait until later? Thank you so much, Poly GM!
