In NE, The DMV will receive compliance documentation the following day after the payment has been posted to the courts records.

In VA, When you receive convictions for traffic offenses, the courts communicate with the DMV. The DMV then assigns points and posts the conviction(s) to your driver record.

In CA, DMV keeps a record of all traffic convictions and accidents.
