question about honda accord 2007

2007 Honda accord

this morning, it is very cold outside. I could start the engine, however, I could not change the shift from Parking to driving. I waited for about 20mins, then I could change the shif from parking to driving.

 

This is the 3nd time happened. Each time, in very cold weather. It looks like I have to wait until the car warm up and then I can change the shift. Does anyone have similar problems?
