Needs a lot more information. This goes to anyone asking for help. Even the best shops would not be able to help you with 2 sentences.

what car, what year, any chronicle problem, what is circumstances when the issue 1^st occurred (speed, noise, warning lights?), did the problem persist, etc.

It's ok that u know little about cars. But at least u should be able to describe the problem. Otherwise, u’d better off sending the car to a mechanic/deal to get ripped.
